Hello Note Cards Gem Gold Foil

By Cards, Planner Stationary & Accessories

Hi All,

Have you been keeping up with all the different note card sets that I’ve shared this week? I have saved my personal favorite for today! For this card, I kept the color palate very soft and neutral. This card features a gorgeous gold foil gem pattern which is actually printed on a matte off-white vellum. It is beautiful! I also embossed the cards with a raised small dot pattern. The hello sentiment is dimensional and sits atop the embossing. To separate the two patterns I used a small gray striped border using thin Japanese washi tape.

Here’s a closer look!

I love how the gold picks up the light and becomes reflective!

The embossing leaves a gorgeous pattern on the interior of the card as well. I love this subtle detail!

Creating a Tribal Pattern Using Heat Embossing

Tribal-Card

Hi everyone!

I’m back with an all new card and video to share with you today. This card is very simple but packs quite a punch with the amount of gold and shimmer it has. I used some stamp making paper and a ruler to create some triangle shapes and cut them out to create this pattern on the background. I then used one of my favorite embossing powders (Ranger Liquid Platinum), and heat embossed the entire panel. What gorgeous results?! To finish the card I used this elegant card from project life.

Here’s how it all came together.

Supplies:

Cardstock: Bazzil Basics

Embossing Powder: Ranger Liquid Platinum

Masking: Inkadinkado Stamp Masking Paper

Hand Cut & Stitched Sketchbook and Journal

By Planner Stationary & Accessories

Hello all,

I’m so excited to share a fun project I created the other day! I have always been drawn to fun prints and textures when it comes to stationary and notebooks. I try to keep things lively and colorful to brighten up my desk or work space. So the other day as I was looking at some sketch paper and chipboard I had purchased over a year ago, I decided I’d make my very own sketchbook/journal to help organize my thoughts when it comes to cardmaking and project designs.

The covers are 7 gypsies Nouveau book covers. The interior papers are creme cardstock from 7 gypsies as well. I trimmed down the cardstocks to match the book (approximately 7″ x 5.5″).

The bookcovers were covered with atg and then wrapped with papers from the Echo Park 12×12 Simple Life collection.

I did the same on thing to the back.  Then, I hand-punched holes throughout each page so that I could loop through some gold thread.

I absolutely LOVE the way the gold thread shows threw while the book is open.

And here’s the finished beauty resting on top of some of my other notebooks I have on my desk. These notebooks are seriously my all time favorites!
