So Happy for You

By Cards

Hey all,

I’m in the process of creating all new cards for my etsy shop, private sales and consignment. Needless to say it is quite the task so I don’t plan on having much in store until Sept 7th.

In the meantime I’ll post a few peeks at cards I’ve creating in the brainstorming process of items I will put into the store.

Today, I wanted to play around with some neutral colors that could be used for multiple occassions. This card features striped and geometric patterns mixed with a very floral. Typically I wouldn’t think to mix the two patterns together, but I think in such a small amount it’s quite pretty.

Also, I’m trying to use up some of the paper flower embellishments I have in stock. Here’s one way to to use them – as centers to illustrated flowers!Happy-Floral-Card

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll be back with an all new card real soon!

Boxed Mini Cards featuring Altenew Stamp Layering

By Cards, Planner Stationary & Accessories

Hi all,

I recently purchased a beautiful set of stamps from Altenew. I am in love with this company for the reason that many of their stamp sets are layering stamps. When you add various hues together, you achieve these beautiful dimensional images!

Here’s a quick glance a boxed set I created. I made 10 mini cards and 10 envelopes to match (they are under the stack in the box).

The sentiment is a mini stamp from a Simon Says Stamp collection.

Fall Themed Notecards

By Cards, Planner Stationary & Accessories

Hi All,

For today’s project I wanted to create a card that could be used as a name card or place card holder at thanksgiving dinner. I like these because they are small enough to not be entirely ‘in the way’ of everything else that is on a table, but they are definitely bold enough to make an impression. I have 2 different color schemes that I created, and I really can’t choose which one is my favorite. P.S. there’s something about burlap that I love!

Even if these aren’t used during thanksgiving, they make great tags to attach to a gift.
