Embossed Floral Stripes Note Cards

By Cards, Planner Stationary & Accessories

Hi All,

I’m making a switch up from the white cards to a something a bit more different today. These card bases are embossed with tiny dots along the entire front. Truth be told, I struggled with the concept for this card for some time. I really loved the floral pattern, but I wanted to add some more color and didn’t quite know where to add them in. After a ton of brain storming, I decided to add in a textured light turquoise cardstock in small stripes. These stripes measure just about 1/8″. They coordinate perfectly with the small dot size of the embossed background.

This card is so elegantly finished, that I feel it can fit several occasions like bridal showers, wedding, birthday, office note cards and so many more events.

Here’s a look at the interior of the card. Just look at all those teeny tiny dots!

Hope you enjoyed taking a look at this card and I hope to see you next time!

Kraft Envelopes For Party Favors

By Planner Stationary & Accessories

Set2

Hi all,

So it seems that wedding season and times of formal parties all happen during the summer. Today I wanted to create a little project to embellish the thought of party favor bags.

To start I grabbed a roll of my favorite kraft paper and cut several (hundred) dies of this bag template. It included score marks which made it easier to figure out where to fold every flap.

How darling is the bag itself!? To embellish them I have several of these doily type adhesive embellishments in my stash. I slowly separated them out to create bundles of envelopes to package up.

Here they are ready to go. They can be used with the gusset, which makes them stand up on their own. Or they can be used flat if you pinch the bottom.

I’m so in love with all things kraft and white so you bet I’ll be making many more of these in the near future!

So Happy for You

Hey all,

I’m in the process of creating all new cards for my etsy shop, private sales and consignment. Needless to say it is quite the task so I don’t plan on having much in store until Sept 7th.

In the meantime I’ll post a few peeks at cards I’ve creating in the brainstorming process of items I will put into the store.

Today, I wanted to play around with some neutral colors that could be used for multiple occassions. This card features striped and geometric patterns mixed with a very floral. Typically I wouldn’t think to mix the two patterns together, but I think in such a small amount it’s quite pretty.

Also, I’m trying to use up some of the paper flower embellishments I have in stock. Here’s one way to to use them – as centers to illustrated flowers!Happy-Floral-Card

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll be back with an all new card real soon!

Regal Royal Blue Wedding Card

By Cards

Hi all,

Quite a while back I purchased this Imperial Jewel rubber cling stamp from Stampendous and absolutely loved how massive of a stamp it is. It’s easily a stamp that can be used to create a big ornate background, or an image that can be stamped and colored in (like a coloring book of sorts).

I decided to give it a more regal look by using Glam Gold embossing powder on a navy blue background. It looks so classy!

I then used a ‘hand written’ sentiment by Altenew and finished off the card.

Just look at all that detail in this card. It measures a bit larger than a standard size at 5.5in by 5.5in.

Such a beauty! These would also make a fabulous wedding invitation card in the same scheme.wedding-card-2
