Snowman Christmas Gift Topper

By Cards, Planner Stationary & Accessories

Hi All,

How about a kids-craft today? If you’re like me, presentation in a gift is just as important as the actual gift. I believe this cute idea originated from Faythchik777 (she’s a fellow crafter on YouTube) who was kind enough to share the idea with her viewers. These little snowmen can be attached to gift bags, baskets, presents, pens, pencils, and the list goes on.

..did you notice the eyes?

I likely be adding these to the gifts I give out to kids this year. It just might replace all my bows. Somehow, I think some adults will want these too! =)

Hey readers! What is your favorite way to decorate a gift? Whether it’s the weekly of a sales ad, ornate wrapping paper, or the ‘wrap this gift’ option on amazon..I’d love to know!

Hi All,

I got another Christmas card to share with you today! For this card I wanted to try out a new shape and design. I designed the entire card using my silhouette cutting machine and some good quality cardstock.

By the way, I have a sentiment on the inside (I will post a picture over on etsy). It reads “Merry Everything”. LOL It covers all your holiday wishes for family and friends.

Hi All,

Lately I have had a quite a few friends ask me if I could come up with some funnier Christmas cards. Today I have one that may qualify for the techy people in your life. On the exterior this card looks like any other classy christmas card.

But the inside reveals your sincerest of holiday wishes for the recipient. =)

In all honesty the interior can be customized to any sentiment. I just liked this one thought I’d pop it on this card for fun! ha!

Happy Holidays!

Glad Tidings of Great Joy!

By Cards

Hi All,

Who’s ready for winter?! Oh man, I am so pumped for winter and all the holiday festivities it brings. In anticipation for the upcoming holiday season I have started to create Christmas cards. I will likely have a new one to share each day leading up to the week before Christmas. If you are interested in any of the cards please leave a comment and let me know! I’d love to hear feedback on which styles, colors, and themes you like!

On to today’s card.

For this card, I wanted to try out some inking techniques and create a snowbank. I achieved this look with some masking and 2 tone color blending of inks. I loved the results of the technique. It looks like it is watercolor with several layers of color, but truly it is a white base with 2 blues.
