Hi all,

For todays masculine card, I used a similar sketch to the feminine card but tweaked it just a little bit. I added in some flourishes in the background which I felt was borderline feminine, but it works! I love how quickly this card pulled together. Maybe I’ll start doing card sketches more often! 😉

Hi all,

I am on to day 5 of online card class. Today’s theme is anniversary cards. I thought the cards presented in class today were abosutely adorable, but I wanted to try something a little different. I created a card sketch that I wanted to use on both cards. I thought the results were fantastic and was a bit surprised at how quickly the card came together once I sketched out my design scheme.

Hi all,

Welcome to Day 4 of participation/projects for online card class. Today’s theme was to create a mother’s day and father’s day card. Although I LOVED the concepts shared in class, I already had a few cards I was creating so I figured I’d share those up. For my father’s day card, I used inspiration from pinterest. I changed up the image a bit and thought I’d break out some of my clear buttons for this project. I don’t know why I thought to create a shirt, but I’m glad I did. I absolutely love this card and know any dad would love it!

Hi all,

For todays masculine card, we were given the tast to create a sentiment card. I found this to be quite challenging in that I didn’t really have any images to represente a masculine theme. I used what I had and tried to create a customized sentiment. I used the same technique as the female card. First I stamped the house image in a light toned ink and then watercolored above it.  Here is the result!
