Kraft Envelopes For Party Favors

By Planner Stationary & Accessories

Set2

Hi all,

So it seems that wedding season and times of formal parties all happen during the summer. Today I wanted to create a little project to embellish the thought of party favor bags.

To start I grabbed a roll of my favorite kraft paper and cut several (hundred) dies of this bag template. It included score marks which made it easier to figure out where to fold every flap.

How darling is the bag itself!? To embellish them I have several of these doily type adhesive embellishments in my stash. I slowly separated them out to create bundles of envelopes to package up.

Here they are ready to go. They can be used with the gusset, which makes them stand up on their own. Or they can be used flat if you pinch the bottom.

I’m so in love with all things kraft and white so you bet I’ll be making many more of these in the near future!

Christmas Giftcard Holders

By Cards, Planner Stationary & Accessories

Hi All,

Today’s post may not be entirely new to some of my readers (I posted a picture of a box of these on my facebook page earlier this fall). These lil’ pockets will hold the average size giftcard and has a flap that folds over to keep contents in. I think they are pretty darling and look totally vintage.

I will be selling these in variety packs at an upcoming craft fair and will have them up on etsy for any who are interested in having an elegant addition to their holiday gifts.

Hand Cut & Stitched Sketchbook and Journal

By Planner Stationary & Accessories

Hello all,

I’m so excited to share a fun project I created the other day! I have always been drawn to fun prints and textures when it comes to stationary and notebooks. I try to keep things lively and colorful to brighten up my desk or work space. So the other day as I was looking at some sketch paper and chipboard I had purchased over a year ago, I decided I’d make my very own sketchbook/journal to help organize my thoughts when it comes to cardmaking and project designs.

The covers are 7 gypsies Nouveau book covers. The interior papers are creme cardstock from 7 gypsies as well. I trimmed down the cardstocks to match the book (approximately 7″ x 5.5″).

The bookcovers were covered with atg and then wrapped with papers from the Echo Park 12×12 Simple Life collection.

I did the same on thing to the back.  Then, I hand-punched holes throughout each page so that I could loop through some gold thread.

I absolutely LOVE the way the gold thread shows threw while the book is open.

And here’s the finished beauty resting on top of some of my other notebooks I have on my desk. These notebooks are seriously my all time favorites!

An All-in-One Valentine

By Cards, Planner Stationary & Accessories

Hi all,

I’ve finally sat down and started to create some Valentine’s Day cards. I had so many requests for cards, envelopes and treat-holders. So first I wanted to tackle a project that would address all 3 categories. These beautiful envelopes are approximately 2.5″  x 2.75″. It’s the perfect size for a little card or treat to fit inside. I could easily fit in a fun-size candy bar and use some washi-tape to seal it in.

Each envelope has a sentiment on the outside which read:

“I count myself luck to call you friend” OR “Happiness enclosed.” I love these sentiments because they aren’t overly GUSHY.

My favorite is the pink banner one towards the middle of the picture. I love the simple sentiment!
